arminaeldrid: numbuh214: The thing is, there’s a difference between shipping a couple and believing/insisting a couple is canon. Shipping a couple means you like the pairing, no matter how likely or unlikely in canon. For example, I ship Nepeta ♥ Eridan. Believing/insisting a couple is canon… really, it’s exactly what it says on the tin. I do not believe Nepeta ♥ Eridan has ever had or will ever have a chance of happening in-story (especially since neither character interacted much with the other while living and we didn’t get to see their death dream bubbles), and do not expect anyone else to believe this; but that doesn’t stop me from shipping it.
